The dialogue in this story feels so natural and snappy. Xu Ling and the Reliable System bicker like old friends, not like a host and an AI tool. That banter makes the exposition way easier to digest.

The emperor's reaction to learning about the princess's poisoning through the MC's thoughts was subtle and well-written. He immediately ordered the imperial physician to check her pulse while making it look like he was checking on the mother-in-law. He's clearly not ready to admit he cares about his sister publicly but his actions show he does. Character depth through subtext.
