1 I like the little detail about the Master’s Wife’s dress sliding down at the end of the first chapter. We didn’t see the result, but it’s heavily implied she’s going to use dual cultivation to help him activate the Qilin kidneys. It’s a little on the nose, but it’s a cultiva-novel staple, so I’m not surprised. I’m curious if they’ll develop any actual emotional bond or if it’s just a training tool.
