I'm really into the worldbuilding details. The fact that bruise powder costs a few coins but healing balm costs five taels—and only martial artists can afford it—tells you everything about the class structure. Most people in this village are one bad wound away from death. The mention of demon beast meat being required for further upgrades hints at a larger world beyond the village. Makes me curious about what else is out there.
The Mother Dragon's reaction to her son trying to make fire by friction was hilarious. There's this majestic ancient creature watching her hatchling fumble with dry grass and dead wood, probably thinking "what's wrong with this child?" And then just casually breathes flames to show him how it's done. That moment perfectly captures the clash between human ingenuity and dragon instincts. I laughed out loud when Chen Wen finally spat out a tiny flame and started jumping around happily.
I see several plot threads: the farming game’s origin, the blood moon cause, Youxiang’s evolution (can she become more human?), the base politics, possibly other conscious zombies, and the romance. The story has set up a lot of potential. I’m curious about the game – is it connected to the apocalypse? Can other people see it? And what about the crystals? Will Qin Zhuo and Youxiang eventually fight a big boss? Good hooks for later.
