Xing Ge’er is honestly the sweetest thing so far. The way he stands in front of her to block Mama Cui’s scolding, shouting “You’re not allowed to talk about Mother!”—that caught me off guard. In her past life, he betrayed her, but here a little kindness flips him. The emotional weight behind that change is huge. I feel for both of them, stuck in a messed-up family dynamic with adults playing politics.
I'm a bit annoyed that the narrator didn't get any clear answers before leaving. But I guess that's the point.
So the 'Secret Realm Changes Fate' plan works by using a 'Supporting Secret Realm' to conquer a 'Target Secret Realm'. What if the One Piece world is the *supporting* realm? What if conquering it lets him take Devil Fruits or Haki back to the real world to fight his dad? The 'Project Vision: To be unlocked' implies the real target is something much bigger. His final fight is probably not in the East Blue.
I’m a little worried about the luck system turning into a crutch. So far, Wu An has used it to get water from a broken pump and catch a few fish. That’s fine in small doses. But if every problem from now on gets solved by “add luck,” then there’s no tension. I’m hoping the author puts limits or costs in place. The idea that luck decreases with use and resets daily is promising—it forces prioritization. But will we see consequences for using it frivolously? Or for running out at a bad time? That potential for risk keeps systems like this interesting. I’ll be paying attention to how the author handles scarcity and trade-offs going forward.
