I'm curious about how the difficulty setting actually works. At first, it seems like it just slows enemies down and boosts her power, but could it have other effects? Maybe better loot? Easier negotiation? The fact that she stuck with Beginner suggests she's not interested in a challenge, which makes sense given her backstory. Survival comes first.
One of the highlights is how the misunderstanding arc with Kiana and Welt is resolved quickly without unnecessary drama. Kiana literally says "Villain Welt, come quickly and die" and then a few paragraphs later she apologizes after Welt explains. That's realistic for her character—she's not stubborn when presented with facts. March 7th being ready to fight but then calming down is also good. Too many stories drag out misunderstandings for chapters, but here it's resolved within a single conversation, which I respect.
