2 I liked that Lin Yi uses strategy during the Vampire Mosquito fight. Instead of just spamming fireballs, he creates fire walls and funnels them into kill zones. It shows he’s smart about using terrain and magic creatively. That kind of tactical thinking makes battles more engaging than sheer power level. More of that, please.
That moment when the three ministers started evaluating the MC as a potential bride for the emperor's harem was both creepy and hilarious in equal measure. They're literally in the middle of a huge political crisis and their brains immediately go "oh so THAT'S the emperor's type let's find clones of her for him." Men in power really do think with the wrong head sometimes.
The moment when Jiang Fei tastes the tomato-flavored potato chips and almost cries really got me. She hasn't eaten normal food in over two years in her past life. She's been eating rotten leftovers, tree bark, bugs, and clay. That detail is so visceral and horrifying. It makes you understand why she's so desperate to hoard supplies this time around. She's not being greedy; she's being traumatized. She knows exactly what starvation feels like, and she'll do anything to avoid going through that again. The emotional weight behind that simple snack scene is incredible.
The whole transmigration setup actually caught me off guard—I thought this was going to be a straight-up modern romance with a doctor protagonist, but then she gets this space and suddenly it’s an apocalypse prep story. The shift from "struggling med student" to "I’m gonna rob a pharmaceutical port" felt wild but I kinda respect her hustle.
