After reading this first part, I think the story has a lot of potential. The genre is familiar, but the protagonist's unique voice and the detailed world timeline make it stand out. I'm not immediately hooked by a major plot twist, but I'm comfortable with the slow start. I'll give it a few more chapters to see if the action picks up. For now, it's a solid beginning that establishes characters and setting in an enjoyable way.
One thing I didn't expect was the comedic timing in the serious moments. When Shen Muyan is confronting the driver, there's tension, but the earlier scene of Shen Zhiyin threatening him with 'deformed buttocks' undercuts it perfectly. The author knows how to balance a scene so that the humor doesn't undercut the drama. It's a delicate tightrope walk, and so far, they're nailing it.
I noticed a minor detail: when he checked his panel, it said Spiritual Energy Amount 1300/1800 after getting Nature’s Darling. But earlier it was 600 max. That math works, but the numbers feel a bit arbitrary. I wish the progression curve was clearer.
