When the system said “Randomly change to an Ordinary Profession”, I expected something like Warrior or Mage. But Summoner to me is not ordinary; it’s usually the hero class. The twist is that without resources it’s trash, but the MC gets a workaround. That’s good design.
I'm not a fan of how quickly the villagers captured Zhang and his team. They were supposed to be veterans, yet didn't put up a fight. It makes the whole "elite captain" feel like a joke. At least give them a struggle to raise the tension.
2 The economic planning is actually interesting. Yang Nuo's ideas about soap, salt, sugar, liquor, mirrors—it's a classic isekai business plan, but the author adds a twist by making the government not control salt. That feels like a deliberate gap in the world. Why hasn't anyone exploited it? Maybe the emperor is incompetent? Or there's a secret taboo? The mystery adds layers.
I finished the provided part and immediately wanted more. The mix of action (storm, lightning, survival), mystery (the driver's identity, the organization), and humor (system glitches, Li Wei's cursing) kept me engaged. That's a good hook for a first chapter.
