I wonder what happened between them to make her resent him so much even after death. It sets up a nice revenge motive, but I’m also worried the story might go too dark. The gentle and soft delivery of that wish made it even more poignant.
The scene where the protagonist wakes up and immediately starts analyzing Li Yi's hands for calluses is such a flex.
