I'm suspicious of how convenient the Herenna family's support is. Kathlyn says they'll "fully support" Lorin to become heir, but why? Is it pure bloodline loyalty, or do they have an agenda? She mentions the Empire's declining family, but supporting the son of a traitor seems risky. I hope there's more political maneuvering later.
Shi Ran's decision to climb a tree and hide when she heard footsteps was smart. Most people would freeze or run, but she immediately assessed the situation, found cover, and prepared to defend herself. Her tactical thinking is one of her best traits so far.
I'm not sure about the translation. It reads a bit stiff in places. For example, "Liu Ke felt a chill run from his spine to his forehead" is a literal description of a feeling, but it's not the most natural way to say it. Some phrases feel like they are translated word-for-word, which takes me out of the story.
The romance potential is strong. Enemies (or at least estranged) to lovers with a crippled prince and a pragmatic transmigrator. The princess carry, the gentle medical care, the teasing with the cola... they are starting to connect. I'm already invested in their relationship development. I hope the author doesn't drag out the misunderstanding too long.
2 The whole “Yang Raising Grass” subplot is ridiculous but kinda genius. It’s a cheap way to show that the villains are pathetic even in their off-screen lives. Yang Liancheng has a ten-second problem? That’s just humiliating. And the irony that his cousin died trying to get him a stamina herb is almost poetic.
