One thing that bothered me was how quickly Mu Fenghua adjusted to being a baby. She’s an adult reborn, but she seems completely fine breastfeeding and being handled by her mother. I get the survival instinct, but I expected more internal conflict about losing her independence. The narrative skips over her potential discomfort to focus on her competition with her brother and cultivation. It’s fun but feels a bit shallow. The scene where she pinches her brother to force him to move while birthing is both hilarious and worrying—she’s controlling even the delivery!
I'm a bit worried about the pacing slowing down if the fishing takes too long. But for now, the detailed setup with the bait and spot selection is keeping me engaged. It feels like a "preparation" phase for a bigger payoff, whether it's a meal or a new discovery.
