The whole thing about her being a building owner who collects rent is such a mood. I wish I had that. Her reaction to transmigration is to miss that passive income. It’s hilarious and relatable. When the system mentions rewards up to 40 million, her eyes light up. That’s the kind of motivation we all understand. She’s not after love or power; she wants a fat bank account. I respect that hustle. Even the way she handles the debt shows she’s business-minded. She’s my favorite type of protagonist: lazy but greedy enough to act when needed.
The villain potential: the jealous classmates are unnamed, but they represent the typical peer rivalry. It's a bit generic, but it serves the story. I'd like to see a named rival who is actually strong and challenges Wang Li in a meaningful way. The mention of "top students" at Ninth/Tenth Layer sets a high bar. Maybe one of them is the main antagonist. The teacher Old Zhan also might play a bigger role as a mentor or obstacle.
I was totally hooked from that first line. There's this raw confidence in Jiang Li that feels instantly refreshing after reading so many novels where the real daughter comes back and acts all weak and pitiful. Her little smirk and "this move, quite beautiful" line set the tone perfectly—she’s not here to beg for scraps. The way she just lays out the whole original tragic plot like it’s old news really drives home that she knows exactly what kind of mess she’s dealing with. It makes me think she's already planned a lot of her moves.
I wonder if the true daughter will become the villain of the story. So far, Ning Yue is neutral, but the set-up could go either way. Maybe she'll feel threatened by Yan Zhizhi's carefree nature. Or maybe she's genuinely good. The variety show should bring out their dynamics. I'm keeping an eye on their interactions.
The scene where An Min cleans out the An family house is absolutely savage and I loved every second of it. Taking the curtain fabric, the chandelier, even the cups and teapots? That's pure pettiness and I'm here for it. The way she leaves the place looking like a brand new empty house is both hilarious and satisfying. You can feel her pent-up rage from her past life being channeled into this one act of defiance. More of this energy, please.
