Brother Chen is the manager at Star Sea Entertainment who handles new member contracts. He is superficially friendly and positive, painting a rosy picture of company benefits while concealing the exploitative nature of the contracts. He is pleased when Yu Sui and Shen Anliu sign without reading, thinking them naive. He is just an employee but is complicit in the company's twisted system. He does not intervene when teams fight internally, as per company culture. He later assigns the new members to share a dorm and orders a staff member to guide them.
