Dong Chao is one of the two Kaifeng Prefecture escort officers bribed by Gao Qiu to assassinate Lin Chong. He and Xue Ba stab Lin Chong with a backsword in Wild Boar Forest. Upon discovery by Lu Zhishen, his head is smashed by the monk's Zen staff, leaving his headless body to be devoured by beasts.
