The first shadow wolf is the initial creature summoned by Yuan Tao using Shadow Mage. It is more agile and stronger than an ordinary wolfdog. It emits a cold aura and merges with the shadows. Under Yuan Tao's command, it patrols the mountain forest and hunts small animals, successfully catching a thick snake, two plump field mice, and bird eggs. It aids Yuan Tao in his survival by providing food. It is a manifestation of Yuan Tao's soul power.
