Gu Yun is Wen Chuhan's white moonlight, a young master of the Gu Family. He returns to the country from overseas and holds a welcome banquet, which Wen Chuhan attends instead of celebrating Zhang Buran's birthday. Gu Yun harbors a greedy desire for Wen Chuhan and tries to take advantage of her when she is drunk, but she refuses. He is jealous of Zhang Buran and views him as a useless rival.
