Kou Yu is one of Chu You’s maidservants, accompanying her from Hanyaling. She is fiery and fiercely loyal, quick to defend her mistress. At the manor gate she shouts at the gatekeepers, and later she brings urgent messages about Prince Yi’s success. She is not afraid to threaten servants with venomous spiders when they insult Chu You.
