The fiancé of Du Shao, a selfish and possessive man. He tries to persuade Du Shao to give up her opportunity to join a major sect and follow him to a minor sect. He is manipulative and easily angered when his plans are thwarted by Lin Du. He swears oaths insincerely and represents a typical love-brain antagonist who fears his partner outgrowing him.
