Lu Qi is the assistant and bodyguard to Lu Xixiao. He is sharp, efficient, and skeptical of Wen Li, suspecting her of trying to get close to the Lu family. He investigates Wen Li's background and reports his findings to Lu Xixiao. He also handles technical tasks such as trying to locate Dr. Dawn. He is impressed by Wen Li's martial arts and composed demeanor, but remains wary. He often mutters his thoughts aloud.
