Ma Zao is the female protagonist, a young teenage girl who appears covered in blood in an abandoned construction site. She is actually a survivor from a future apocalyptic world, a Blessing User (Superpower User) who can perform Space Transfer. She claims that the future is ravaged by monsters and strange phenomena, and she has traveled back in time to prevent the apocalypse. She is fiercely independent, initially aggressive and wary, but slowly shows a softer side after Zhuang Cheng helps her. She is injured – her Soul was burned while escaping from Da Mo – and currently cannot use her powers. She carries a handgun and is wanted by the police as a fugitive serial killer (a misunderstanding). She has a strong sense of mission and worries that being close to her will bring disaster (a Sweep Star).
