Mage Angru is an elderly mage at the Mage Guild headquarters, a mid-level mage with five stars within the second circle. He is greedy and tries to extort additional fees from Rosen during the badge processing. He is easily fooled when Rosen gives him water ripple stones instead of gold coins, leading to ridicule from his colleagues. He is a typical minor official who exploits his position for personal gain.
