Martha is the wet nurse employed to breastfeed baby Riria during her first months. She is a commoner mother of several children herself. Kind and sympathetic, she held and talked to Riria longer than required, complaining about the mansion's cold attitude. Martha provided most of Riria's early human warmth and interaction. After Riria transitions to baby food, Martha stops nursing and returns to general work, but receives a generous allowance to build a small house. She is remembered positively by Riria as a source of affection.
