Mos is the protagonist, formerly a 23-year-old human male, now reincarnated as a female brown rat in a dark sewer. She retains memories of her human life and is determined to become human again. She discovers she has two status screens (human and rat) and her innate talent "Golden Finger" enables her to construct and upgrade talents. Accidentally choosing the Warrior profession, she fights for survival against black rats and monstrous creatures. She kills a giant centipede, escapes an invasion, befriends a slime named Little Dumpling, and battles a large aggressive slime. Her traits include a carefree attitude, resourcefulness, and a growing understanding of the world's rules.
