An honest middle-aged villager who borrowed Sun Jian's ox to plow his fields. He rushes to inform Sun Jian when Sun Hao slaughters the ox, covered in blood and anxious. He warns Sun Jian about Sun Hu's power and advises caution. He is a well-meaning but timid commoner who reluctantly gets involved. He has an uncle working at the county yamen, which gives him a little land and status but not enough to protect others.
