A princess of Great Hao, motherless and without powerful backing. She is cautious and often seeks Yuan Zhen’s favor, but secretly admires Song Pu, the fourth son of the Grand Tutor. When Shu’an tells her that the Emperor plans to select husbands and Song Pu is a candidate, she becomes conflicted. She fears competing with Yuan Zhen but cannot hide her envy and jealousy. She usually composes herself well but is tormented by her feelings. In the story she hesitates to visit Yuan Zhen, revealing her complex mental state. She is a minor but emotionally significant character who represents the less favored princesses.
