Raylas is a heroic spirit and the biological mother figure of Merea. She is described as a peerlessly beautiful hero with long, beautiful white hair, which Merea inherits. Her lingering attachment was that she died without being able to bear a child. When Merea was reincarnated (reborn as the child of the spirits), her attachment was fulfilled and she immediately departed, ascending to the Heavenly Sea of Souls. Her joy in seeing her child born allowed her to let go of her lingering regrets. She is mentioned by Flander and the other spirits with fondness, and her white hair factor makes Merea's appearance striking.
