She is the initiator of the plan, often speaking first and leading the group. She is kind‑hearted but unsuccessful when the Guidance Director intervenes. Afterward, she accepts that the cat is school‑owned and leaves reluctantly. She represents a well‑meaning human who cares for stray animals, but eventually respects the cat's established situation.
