Sun Hao's older brother, a chief yamen runner (Duotou) in Hongnong County. He is burly, bearded, and exceptionally ruthless. He leads a group of yamen runners in eating the slaughtered ox. Confronted by Sun Jian, he first threatens violence but is outwitted by Sun Jian's bluff about villagers gathering as witnesses. He retreats but plots revenge, planning to strike during tax collection. He embodies the corrupt official power that oppresses commoners.
