The Healer Gatekeeper is a male soldier stationed at the town entrance of Loft. He originally belonged to the Magician's Guild but left after being treated as the lowest member, choosing to work as a gatekeeper to make a fresh start. He possesses healing magic and uses it to treat Minato's wound from Barbed Ivy at no charge, explaining that he wants to keep his skills sharp. He is talkative and kind, warning Minato about the influx of adventurers due to the prince's Stone Fever and the cockatrice nest in the new dungeon. Later, he also heals the wounds of the Stone Fever girl and advises Minato against meddling too deeply. He represents one of the few genuinely helpful adults Minato meets, offering both medical aid and valuable information without expecting anything in return.
