The Shadow is the first monstrous manifestation Su Hong encounters after the apocalypse begins. It appears as a distorted black silhouette in the corridor, causing fear and panic. It is later identified as a Black Robe Jailer. It represents the initial mystery and danger of the apocalypse, moving in the dim light.
