A nominal Taoist priest of the temple who does not reside there. Tong Yi has only met him a few times in ten years and cannot clearly remember his face. He has not returned for many years, probably forgetting about the temple. His absence leaves a gap in Tong Yi's life, and he is only briefly mentioned in the narrative.
