The Vietnamese leader is a dark-skinned man carrying a machete. He leads a group of five Vietnamese men in the wilderness. They discover Zhang Qiling lying in the grass. He is presumably the head of the group and gives orders. After Shi Ran shoots at them, he is among the first to fall. He is one of the antagonists that Shi Ran eliminates to protect Zhang Qiling.
