Wei Yun'an is the young son of Wei Chengming (the deceased eldest son), making him Wei Chengyi's nephew. He is about two years old. He is initially shy but quickly bonds with Shen Xiangwan, who takes him from Wei Chenghé and carries him. He cries when frightened by the soldiers but is comforted by the family. He represents the innocent child affected by the family's exile.
