A black, hairless mutated dog with tough, elastic skin adapted to the rain. It was attracted by the blood of the dead scavengers and approached the area. Li Yu shot it with an arrow, but the dog reacted with explosive speed and still charged. It survived multiple arrows, including one through the head, before being killed. Its tenacity amazed Li Yu. Its blood was drunk for energy, and its meat became food (though it spoiled quickly). The fight demonstrated the dangers of the wasteland.
