The family of Yin Qiu works for the mansion, and Jiang Ruohua assigns Yin Qiu to inquire about the household's management because of her father's position. It is implied he is incorruptible and trusts the Duke. He does not appear in person but is a reference point for reliable information and influence within the household structure, opposing the Third Madam’s usurpation.
