Ronnie, a lone explorer in the extreme northern ice fields of Blue Star, falls into a deep glacier crevice and is impaled by an ice pillar through his lower left chest, rupturing a lung. Accepting his imminent death, he crushes the frozen blood from the pillar and eats it, then closes his eyes. He awakens inside a dark space as a dragon hatchling, breaking out of a black egg covered with colored specks. He recognizes his Dragon True Name, confirming he has become a dragon in a world related to DND. A system binds to him, releasing a newbie gift pack: a complete picnic set containing vast amounts of seasonings and camping tools, the skill Telekinesis, and one Transmigration Count. His status panel shows his race as Dragon (???), later updated to World Dragon. His talent is Heartless, which indicates extreme willpower due to the absence of normal emotions, and there is an Assimilation Rate of 0%.An old silver dragon with golden patterns appears and explains that this world was once a top transcendent world in the Void but was corrupted by Chaos, a highly polluting Aggregates of everything. The world’s final gambit was to sacrifice itself and all living beings to create a supreme god who could control Chaos—Ronnie. The old dragon, a phantom of the world’s strongest being, merges into Ronnie as starlight, granting him access to the world’s Legacy: condensed knowledge and authority over the world. Ronnie is the embodiment of this world; his current body is just a clone. He must learn and grow stronger, mastering Chaos Power without being assimilated. The world outside the membrane is grey and chaotic, with tentacles and Ravings, but Ronnie’s strong will allows him to resist.Ronnie spends an immense period—tens of thousands to millions of years—studying the Legacy, primarily focusing on dragon knowledge. He grows from a three-meter hatchling to a young dragon over thirty meters long, with black scales flowing with colorful light and blood-gold eyes. He gains the talent Chaos Power, allowing him to use some Chaos, but it increases his Assimilation Rate, now at 1.3%. He realizes that staying in this dying world is pointless for now and decides to use the Transmigration Count from the newbie pack. The system activates, randomly searching for a world coordinate, and begins the process. Ronnie leaves his origin world, embarking on a journey to unknown realms.

30. Overall I’m invested in Ronnie’s journey despite the slow start. The blend of D&D lore chaotic humor and cosmic horror is original. The biggest weakness is the pacing especially the time skip and the lack of clear goals. But Ronnie’s personality carries the story. I’ll keep reading to see if he ever uses that salt packet or if the system gives him a better gift next time.

2 The mechanic of Ronnie having to “learn” to become stronger is relatable. Instead of hitting a level up button he has to study. That speaks to me as a person who hated school but ironically loves learning when it’s fictional magic. The analysis talent that helps him understand things faster is his real superpower. Not combat but comprehension. That’s a unique focus for an MC.

2 The vibe of this story is very self-indulgent in a good way. It feels like the author is writing what they find fun. The jokes about the system the trolling descriptions and Ronnie’s deadpan reactions create a cozy chaotic energy. It’s not trying to be epic fantasy just a fun ride. That’s refreshing after so many grimdark series. Sometimes you just want a snack-filled dragon adventure.

2 The Dragon race with the question marks is driving me crazy. Is it a hidden species? A hybrid? The Old Dragon didn’t explain it and the panel just says World Dragon. It must be unique but the mystery is frustrating. I hope the system reveals more details soon. Maybe the next transmigration world will have dragon scholars who can identify him.

2 The “Transmigration Count 0” at the end is a cliffhanger. The system will give more through tasks but knowing this system it will probably be stingy. I wonder how many worlds Ronnie will visit. Hopefully each world has a unique challenge that tests his developing powers. The random world search also means no safety net. He could end up anywhere even a world of sentient spoons.

2 The decision to make Ronnie emotionally apathetic is a bold choice. It means he won’t cry over dying or cheer for victories. But the author still makes him engaging through humor and curiosity. The complaint about the system being defective is funny because he cares enough to be annoyed. So he’s not completely numb just selectively invested. That’s good writing.
