Luo Yingxue returns to her villa to find four thugs captured by her subordinates. The balding fat man informs her they had extorted her son Yu Kai. Luo Yingxue interrogates them, learning they framed him for unjust enrichment and she had paid compensation without question. She spares their lives on condition they go to the school and apologize to her son. The thugs, terrified after learning she is the CEO of the feared Wuqing Debt Collection Company, immediately comply.

At school, Yu Kai tells his classmates about the incident, expressing frustration that his mother paid despite his protests. During the parent-teacher meeting, his class teacher criticizes him publicly for poor grades. Luo Yingxue arrives and confronts the teacher. When the teacher continues to belittle Yu Kai, Luo Yingxue slaps her and offers one million per slap as compensation. The teacher agrees, and Luo Yingxue calls for thirty million to be sent over.

The principal arrives with security guards, threatening to expel Yu Kai. Luo Yingxue calmly calls Mayor Wang. Subordinates bring six suitcases containing thirty million in cash. Police arrive on the scene, but Mayor Wang intervenes, ordering the police to stand down. He declares the principal and his father in the education bureau suspended pending investigation. The principal is handcuffed and taken away.

The class teacher kneels and begs for mercy. Luo Yingxue delivers a speech defending Yu Kai’s character, stating his moral qualities are more important than grades. She then leaves with her son.

In the car, Yu Kai questions his mother’s identity. Luo Yingxue reveals she is the CEO of Wuqing Debt Collection Company, the organization that successfully rescued hostages from the pirate group Sohai and collected four hundred million in compensation. Yu Kai is astonished, having heard of the legendary operation.

Yu Kai then asks about his father, whom he had believed dead. Luo Yingxue tells him his father was born into a slave family but awakened a divine body that appears once every hundred thousand years, the fastest constitution for spiritual cultivation. He faced constant assassination attempts, defeated Immortal Realm princes, subdued prodigies from various races, annihilated the God Race, and established the Heavenly Court to rule the starry sky. However, he was lured into the Execution Tower by the Immortal Realm and trapped there. Luo Yingxue brought Yu Kai to Earth to hide and raise him in safety.

Yu Kai decides he wants to learn spiritual cultivation to save his father. Luo Yingxue explains the difficulty but assures him he will succeed because he is his father’s son. She gives him a miraculous pill to cleanse his body and begins teaching him the basics of Qi and spiritual energy cultivation. Yu Kai eagerly starts his training, determined to become strong enough to rescue his father from the Execution Tower.

The takeaway from this excerpt is that the mother will stop at nothing to protect her son, and the son is about to discover a world far bigger than his school. The father's absence is a driving mystery. I'm curious to see if the story will follow the son's cultivation journey or focus on the mother's operations. Either way, I'm invested in the family.

The classroom scene with the parents and students watching the drama unfold is realistic in its reactions – they scream, run, or stand stunned. That's how real people would react to a gun standoff. The story doesn't turn them into heroes, which is good. It maintains some verisimilitude even in an over-the-top scenario.

The story uses a lot of "swish" and "oooh" sound effects drawn from Chinese comic conventions. It's a bit jarring in English prose, but it adds to the anime feel. Readers who enjoy donghua or manhua will likely appreciate these flourishes. It's a stylistic choice that may not appeal to everyone.

All in all, this excerpt delivers what it promises: a face-slapping revenge fantasy with a hidden identity twist and a family heart. The execution is rough around the edges, but the energy is infectious. I'd give it a 6/10 for now, with potential to improve if the author relaxes the pacing and deepens the characters.

The dynamics between the mother and son are the highlight. She's overprotective and fierce; he's naive but brave. When he stands in front of her to protect her from the principal, it shows that he has inherited her courage. Their relationship feels genuine even when the plot around them is ridiculous. That emotional truth is what will keep me reading.

I appreciate that the author included a rational explanation for cultivation (evolution, spiritual energy as fuel). It shows effort to make the system make sense within the story's logic. Even if it's not fully consistent, it's better than just waving a wand. The son's comparison to car fuels was cute and helped him (and the reader) understand the concept.
