Wu Qiuqiu was an overworked salaryman who died from exhaustion and was reborn as a tiger cub in the Beast Kingdom of the Savage Continent. The cub was picked up three years ago by a half-beast couple in the Distant Mountain Tribe and raised as a child bride for their son Yuan Fu. The couple and their son treated the cub cruelly, starving her and beating her daily because she could not transform like normal beastkin cubs. Yuan Fu, mocked by other cubs for having a useless partner, kicked the tiny tiger hard, then grabbed her tail and slammed her against a tree until she stopped breathing. He threw her corpse into a ravine. In the ravine, a large snake approached the cub, but Wu Qiuqiu woke up, terrified of snakes, and fainted. A little black snake witnessed the scene and rushed to report to six powerful beastkin who were searching for their missing partner Qingya, a female tiger. The six—Black Mud River Tribe leader Hei Shang (a Teng Snake), the Gryphon beastkin Lie Biao, the Nine-Tailed Fox Bai Feng, a White Wolf, a Giant Ape, and one more—immediately recognized the cub as Qingya’s offspring. They stormed the ravine, found the barely alive cub, and carried her to safety.Enraged by the cub’s injuries, they descended on the Distant Mountain Tribe, crushing homes and confronting Yuan Fu’s parents. The parents admitted to adopting the cub and confessed to mistreating her. Yuan Fu, hiding inside, was dragged out when the little snake identified him as the one who threw the cub off the cliff. The six beastkin were about to kill the family when the cub began spitting blood again, so they rushed her back to their cave to heal.Wu Qiuqiu woke again, now fully aware of her past life and her new body. She remembered the abuse and her desperate labor in her previous life. The six beastkin introduced themselves as her fathers, vowing to protect her. They showed her a magnificent cave filled with precious hides and crystals, telling her it was hers. Though overwhelmed, the cub soon recalled something crucial: when she was taken in, the parents had stolen her companion spirit, a vital source of strength for beastkin, and given it to Yuan Fu. She insisted on returning to the tribe to retrieve it.The fathers agreed without hesitation, even though her wounds were not fully healed. Meanwhile, back in the ruins of the Distant Mountain Tribe, Yuan Fu and his parents plotted to tame the stolen companion spirit for themselves. They believed the cub would never know about it, and even if she came back, they could fool her with a fake. The mother felt reassured, thinking they had secured their future. The story follows Wu Qiuqiu from her tragic death and rebirth as a helpless, abused cub, through her rescue by six fierce yet devoted fathers, to her awakening determination to reclaim what was taken from her. With the full support of her fathers, she returns to the Distant Mountain Tribe to confront Yuan Fu and his parents, reclaim her companion spirit, and settle the debts of abuse and murder.
