I noticed there’s no real sense of threat in the competition. Li Zhaoting is so dominant that there’s no tension. He’s never in danger. Every fight is just a display of how much better he is. While the fights are cool, I miss the anxiety of wondering if the hero will lose. It makes the whole competition feel a bit like a victory lap rather than a struggle.
I have so many questions and I am deeply invested. Why does Chen Zhuoxun know about the apocalypse? Was he reborn too? Is he a native of this timeline who accidentally got the space and visions? What is his relationship with the ring? The fact that he is a depressed actor giving away a super powerful space is a very unique setup. I hope he survives and becomes a key fighter or love interest, and that the author pays off this incredible mystery. The "sasaeng fan" attack that started it all is a great full-circle event.
