The emotional part for me is when Xiao Jingheng says "You... you've changed." It's clear the original Shen Wan was a nightmare. So the MC's transformation is a huge relief to him, but he's suspicious. I like that the MC doesn't bother explaining; she just acts. The line "Does it matter if I am Shen Wan?" is a good non-answer that leaves him guessing. That mystery adds depth.
The “gnawing gnawing gnawing” repetition at the start is a bit annoying but also memorable. It sets the tone of a monotonous existence. Once the story moves to Konoha, that repetition is replaced by tension, which is a good contrast. The start could be tighter though.
Waking up with telekinesis immediately is a big cheat code. The scene where he plays with the baseball bat using his mind was fun. It ensures he isn't just a slow, clumsy zombie. He has immediate utility and combat potential which makes him feel powerful right out of the gate.
Okay, the VR simulation test was genuinely tense. I was holding my breath when that fat monster appeared. The description of him eating maggots and licking his fingers was disgusting in the best way – really sold the horror atmosphere. But what got me was how Su Ninglong treated it like a tactical problem rather than a nightmare. She tested the environment, checked the physics, calculated her moves. When she threw that fork with spiritual energy and it actually damaged the monster? I literally gasped. The story doesn't overexplain her powers, which I like. It just shows her doing what she does and lets the readers catch up.
I kind of wish we had more backstory on the regular classmates. The ones surrounding Lin Xueer seemed concerned, but they’re just background noise. If the story continues with school life, I hope they get fleshed out more.
2 Li Moxie throwing down her phone and demanding WeChat transfers is so desperate. She's trying to show off her wealth, but she just looks like a fool. And Qin Sang is just calmly racking up the money.
