The concept of using Blue Star players as disciples is wild but incredibly clever. Connecting consciousnesses instead of actually transporting souls feels like such a smart way to bypass the world’s laws. It also sets up so much potential for chaos and comedy when actual modern gamers meet this brutal cultivation world. I can already imagine the shenanigans.
The base stats make sense. HP 10/1 The world isn't giving out godly powers on day one. Everyone is frail. It grounds the story in a deadly reality. If a bug bites you, you die. The stakes are real. The MC leveling up only gives +2 HP, so it's slow progression.
That call-back to the cultists’ words during his cross-over was perfect continuity. It links his trauma to the current plot and reminds us he’s not safe even now. I keep expecting the cult to pop up again at any moment.
