The worldbuilding regarding how the system works is very elegantly delivered. We don't get an info dump. We learn it alongside her. The 'Free Action. It is recommended to level up by helping people or defeating enemies.' is a perfect system message. It's open-ended. It tells her what to do but not how to do it. This gives her maximum agency. The distinction between skills (Swordsmanship, Martial Arts) and the survival/utility passives (Hunger Resistance, Natural Healing) is a classic LitRPG setup, but it feels well-structured. I am very curious about the 'Auto Maintenance' skill tree. Is it a crafting path? I hope the author gives her actual gear degradation. The system feels generative and reactive to her choices, which is the hallmark of a well-designed fictional game interface.
The opening with the floating car and Yu Duoduo shaking off Leng Ruoheng’s concern felt real—like watching someone try to act tough while leaving a safety net. Her “I can go on my own!” got old fast though, since we know she’s hiding a lot. Still, that sunglasses reveal was a nice little moment, made her seem cooler than she probably is.
That moment when Lu Ze gets the ability-strength reward from Zhang Ming is such a cool mechanic reveal. He can randomly obtain abilities from people who become completely convinced by his game. The potential applications are insane – imagine what happens if he hooks an Elder on his games! The writer has created a genuinely innovative power system.
