A phantom of a child that appears on a riverbank while Xiao Chen is crossing a bridge. It is naked save for a bellyband and has a topknot. It calls out in an urgent voice, "Brother, brother, come and play with me..." and pleads for Xiao Chen not to go. The apparition frightens Xiao Chen severely.
