Chu Mobai is the heir to the Chu Corporation, one of the wealthiest families in the capital. He is Qin Sang's ex-boyfriend, and they were together for four years before she suddenly broke up with him. He has a languid, sarcastic personality, often speaking with a mocking tone, but can be dark and dangerous when angered. He is extremely wealthy and uses money to play games with Qin Sang, offering to "buy" her for two million at a KTV and later asking her to be his live-in cook with a separate fee. He still harbors feelings for Qin Sang, but masks it with contempt and jealousy. He enjoys seeing her vulnerable yet is protective; when a thin man forced himself on Qin Sang at the KTV, he had his bodyguards intervene and stepped on the man's wrist. He drives a luxury car, smokes expensive cigars, and is known as the most handsome man in the capital. He is shrewd and demanding, having just returned from abroad to inherit the family business.
