Du Lizheng is the village head (Lizheng) of Qingyu Village. He is an authority figure but morally compromised. He approves the sacrifice of children to the Sea God Madam, which directly endangers Song Chuman. He is present during the family division, acting as a witness, and later visits the mountain cave with Song Xiangqian to see the seafood. He seems to maintain a neutral but self-serving position, not intervening to protect the first branch. His character represents the corrupt local leadership that perpetuates harmful traditions.
