Han Lichen is a famous actor and Ye Qing's boyfriend at the start. He is handsome and successful but hypocritical and unfaithful. He shows favoritism towards Ye Zhiruo during an audition, and his lack of chemistry with Ye Qing contrasts with his chemistry with her stepsister. When confronted, he deflects blame and tries to manipulate Ye Qing. He embodies the "scumbag" stereotype and is eventually dumped by Ye Qing.
