Huo Zhenchuan is Huo Tingyan's father. He is a stern and imposing man, but submissive to his wife. He shares the Huo family's dream of having a granddaughter and is envious of friends who have granddaughters. He cooperates with his wife's act of feigning illness to pressure Huo Tingyan into marriage. When Su Luo appears, he is overjoyed and instantly accepts her as his granddaughter. He supports her adoption into the Huo family, changing his attitude completely. He is a supporting character who dotes on Su Luo.
