Qin Shu is Huo Tingyan's mother. She is over fifty but looks young, like a woman in her thirties, with smooth skin. She is dramatic and playful, often feigning illness to manipulate her son into getting married and having children. She desperately wants a granddaughter, as the Huo family only has grandsons. She instantly loves Su Luo, calling her "little darling" and "precious treasure." She treats Su Luo with extreme affection, kissing her and refusing to let go. She scolds Huo Tingyan fiercely for initially rejecting Su Luo, demonstrating her protective nature over the little girl. She is a loving grandmother figure, warm and passionate.
