This police officer is the partner of Tadokoro in the park. He carries a flashlight and directs it into the darkness after being questioned. When Tadokoro is attacked, he picks up the fallen light and is also assaulted by the swarm of spiky monsters, presumably dying. He is a minor character who underscores the sudden danger and the futility of ordinary protection against the monsters.
