Lin Daoqin is a rescued village child, probably around eight years old. He is clever and articulate; when Yu Su Qin and Lin Qiu Tao accuse Lin Yi Nan, he bravely steps forward to tell the truth about the Hu killing Lin Zhao Ming and Lu Chang Sheng, and how Lin Yi Nan saved them.
